How Many Books Are In The Lorien Legacies Series

Recommendations for good YA fantasy.

Hi you all.I want a good novel to read. It seems thats becoming harder and harder becauase current ya fantasy or just books with magic and adventure seem to follow the same stupid trends. Like boy hates girl, is mean to girl, then decides 1 day that he loves girl. Or, girl is stupid, so girl doesn’t ask…

Your taste in books is pretty similar to mine I think (Hunger Games, Uglies, Mortal Instruments are some of my favourite series and Unwind is my favourite book ever) so I’m just gonna list some of the series/books I have:* = quality dystopia (in my opinion); they all have similarities to Uglies and Hunger GamesSeries:- Matched by Ally Condie*- Gone by Michael Grant- Lorien Legacies (I Am Number Four) by Pittacus Lore- The Maze Runner by James Dashner*- Delirium by Lauren Oliver*- Divergent by Veronica Roth*- Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness- His Dark Materials (The Golden Compass) by Philip Pullman- The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper- The Heroes of Olympian (same author as PJ, may be too childish but interesting nonetheless)Books:- Starters by Lissa Price*- Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs- 1984 by George Orwell*- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak- Feed by J.T. Anderson *There are also other books that are not adventure/sci fi/dystopia but are really good:- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak- The Five People You Meet In Heaven and Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom- The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska by John Green- Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher- The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman AlexieHope this helps πŸ™‚

I’m getting so many mixed info about te book Go Ask Alice.

So I read the book thinking it was a real diary. But some websites are saying it was based on a diary and that most of the events were added, and some sites are saying none of it is true and it was just made up. But if it’s true that someone else wrote it how could it be labeled anonymous and then have some…

It’s fiction. The real author pretended that it was written by a real anonymous girl and that the story was all true. Apparently, she wrote it as a way to teach teenagers they shouldn’t be bad or they’ll ruin their lives. But that’s actually a very common literary device a book that pretends to be real when it’s actually fiction. Les Liaisons Dangereuses for example claims to be a real collection of letters from real people but is actually a fictional story written by Choderlos de Laclos. The Lorien Legacies series are written under the pen name Pittacus Lore who claims to be a real elder of the Lorien people. That is of course not the case. This device is meant to make people dive in deeper into the story and activate the suspension of disbelief in the reader.

i loved all four books amazing & intense series cant wait for the other books.

I already have the first four books and i loved each book…and i wanted too know how many lost files are there…cuz i looked them up and it showed 6 lost files im just not sure…

First of all,you may want to specify which series you’re talking about if you want information.I’m going to assume that you are referring to the Lorien Legacies, by Pittacus Lore. There are 6 short stories to go with the main series of books. I’m fairly sure they can all be bought as separate eBooks, but they can also be bought in paperback as combined groups of three. The first three short stories are in the book The Lost Files: The Legacies. The second three are found in The Lost Files: The Secret Histories.Hope that helps.

Amazing books that are a must read.

I’m looking for great books to read, I read a lot, and read quickly, so I need to find books fast or I’ll get bored. If you can recommend any book you love, that be great, but what I really love in a book isFantasy, action, detective/supernatural. And some books I love areThe Hunger GamesPercy Jackson…

The Mortal Instrument Series/The Infernal Devices: Cassandra ClareLorien Legacies: Pittacus LoreThe Inheritance Cycle: Christopher PaoliniThe Warrior Heir Trilogy: Cinda Williams ChimaHarry Potter: J. K. Rowling(None of these series are finished, so there are more books to come. At least 2 more for the Mortal Instruments. Infernal Devices is new, there will be new one in December. Lorien Legacies: I have no idea how many there will, but it seems like it’ll be a trilogy. The Inheritance Cycle’s last book will be released in November. And The Warrior Heir is supposed to have two more books. Chima is also has a second series called the The Seven Realms. I haven’t read them, but they look pretty beast!)And I’ve only read one of the books, but apparently, the whole series is amazing. The Dark Hunters by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I only read Acheron, and it was honestly one of the BEST books I’ve ever read. Then there’s John Dies at the End by David Wong. CRAZY book!Hope that helped! =)

What is the best fantasy book series ever.

I’m gonna get ONE book next week and I don’t know what….=0=”I really liked The Harry Potter Series,Charlie Bone Series,The Series of the Unfourtunate Events…and many more ….Any ideas? o-o?

That’s a really hard and opinionated question, but I’ve read all of the series you mentioned. Well, I haven’t read the last two or three Charlie Bone books, but I’ll probably get around to it.Anyway, I’d say my second favorite would have to The Mortal Instrument series: FANTASTIC!!There’s City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, and City of Fallen Angels. The author, Cassandra Clare, is also writing a prequel to the series, The Infernal Devices; you know, same concept, different time/characters.There’s Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince is coming out in December. Clockwork Angel was released before City of Fallen Angels, but you don’t have to read it before you read City of Fallen Angels, but I think you should. It’ll give you a little more insight as to some of what is being talked about in City of Fallen Angels. Then there’s the Inheritance Cycle: Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance (comes out in November). I waited six years before I read these books, and I completely regret it. I mean, when I started, I couldn’t put it down. It’s very Lord of the Ring-ish plus dragons. If you seen the movie, do not let that ruin reading the books. The movie was garbage. Author: Christopher PaoliniThe Warrior Heir trilogy. It’s been a while since I’ve read them, but I remember when I did read them, I couldn’t wait to finish one and start the next one. This was definitely one of my favorites. I can’t wait to reread them. Author: Cinda Williams ChimaFinally, the Lorien Legacies. If you’ve seen the movie I Am Number Four, the book and the movie are similar, but there are things that are quite different. If they make a sequel, I’m interested to see how they’ll go about it, but I just finished reading The Power of Six, the sequel: AWESOME!! I couldn’t put it down. Not to mention, if you thought John was badass, wait til you really meet Six. Author: Pittacus Lore.Hope that helped πŸ™‚

Recommend me a good book.

I’m in middle school and we have to read 2 books every month. Books I liked and have read/finished the series are The Hunger Games Trilogy, Artemis Fowl, Fablehaven, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Percy Jackson, The Heroes of Olympus, and Flush. Don’t recommend Harry Potter and Twilight because I don’t like it….

The selection by Kiera Cass(second book isn’t out yet but I loved first.)The Sisters Grimms Series by Micheal Buckley(7-9 books in series can’tremeber how many. Awesome twist on common fairy tales.)Dork Diares. Don’t know author. First book called Tales from a not so fabulous life.Similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid but this is from a girls poignant of veiw.11 Birthdays, Finally, and Thirteen gifts. Don’t HAVE to be read in thisorder but I think you understand a little more. Realistic fiction.Twice upon a time series also by Wendy MassWitch and Wizard is the first book in a series by James Patterson.Alex Rider SeriesEspoinage by A. L. Sowards. More books on that to come! The Lorien Legacies Series. First book is I am number Four. The Limit. Not a series but is a GREAT book. Definite page turner. The Serpent Tide, Widow’s Revenge, Diamondback cave. SO HILARIOUS!!!A hint of romance, some serious thoughts, action adventure, I could just go onand on about these three. You don’t have to read them in this order but it makesmore sense if you do. I love to read and these are probably my favoritebooks on this list, although there are some serious competetors.Good luck! Hope you like one of these books! Happy reading

Lorien Legacies question…..

Does anyone know how many books will be in the series?I am number fourThe Power of six – august 2011

I assumed there would be one book focusing on each of the 6 who remain. First book focuses on Number 4, next book focuses on Number 6. I haven’t yet finished I Am Number Four, so I’m not even sure how many remain….However, how many books we actually wind up with depends largely on the success of the series.

How many books of the Lorien legacies are they.

I am reading I am number four and I seen that it has 3 books. Third book is coming out August 21 2012. But what are these books like the list files six legacies? Is it about six? Please answer me and please tell me all the books pittacus lore wrote for the Lorien legacies like the lost file book. Thanks.

Pretty sure this will be a trilogy! The three books are:~I Am Number Four~The Power of Six~The Rise of Nine (this will be released on August 21, 2012)There are also two other books that kind of fit in-between each book in the series. They are sort of like extras. These books are called: (*Note: these are only available as eBooks)~I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: Six’s Legacy~I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: Nine’s Legacy~I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: The Fallen Legacies (release date: July 24, 2012)I did not read these but from reviews I have seen, everything that is told in these books is explained in the actual trilogy.
